Alright, I'm a little bored. When I look back at my posts from last year I had a lot of really hilarious (well, they're funny now) dating stories and I've had pretty much none. I just feel the need to spice things up just a bit so I'm asking for advice, or maybe not advice, but your opinion. Since I'm no longer in a singles ward, and I teach kindergarten, I rarely have the opportunity to socialize with people my own age, not to mention men. Here's where I'd like your opinion:
Should I go back to the online dating?
I am very happy with where I am right now, but I don't get out much and when I've done this in the past I got a couple of free meals (okay, that's not what it's all about, but as a person on a strict budget I find that a benefit). I realize I could put a fancy poll on the side of my blog, but #1. I find them irritating and #2 I don't know how. So, comment and comment often.

Eh. That's my thought. I just don't want what happened last time to happen again however you have to take a risk finding love...and the few free dinners help.
So you admit to living on a strict budget, yeah? Online dating is expensive and does not guarantee anything but meeting more creepy men. I think we can come up with a better solution for you. Just my opinion AND you did ask for it! :)
Kate, do what you and I talked about, get out of your family ward, and go to Audrey's ward....and just stop obsessing about men!!!! You are a beautiful girl. When the time is right you will find someone who is truly desrving to have you. Love you :}
P.S. I am still laughing about what Audrey said!!
I agree that you need to be in a singles ward. On the other hand you could start hitting the bar scene, it's probably awesome.
I have a good friend who has had some fun dates from online "meeting" but in the end even the lds guys she met online seemed to be looking to "hook up" more than to actually date.
good luck!
yeah, so where are some more of those funny stories from last year!!!!
Katie, you are so cute you will find a great guy. I know alot of great single people that do online dating. It works, but I really think a singles ward is really where it's at. Jay was Bishop of a young married ward at BYU and almost all of the couples in his ward met in their singles ward, (FHE groups)Hang in there, He's out there looking for you too!
